While I won’t be partaking in any celebratory wine or champagne toasts to love this Valentine’s day (because of the baby on the way), if I were, I’d be choosing the same indulgence as last year: Brachetto d’Acqui, a sweet, sparkling red wine.
Brachetto d’Acqui pairs excellently with a bitter dark chocolate — the higher the cocoa percentage the better.
We enjoyed this combination alongside Martha Stewart’s Heart-Shaped Raspberry Napoleons (in square shape, depicted above). They are divine!
