Blog Year In Review

I set up this blog a few years ago as a portfolio for my art projects. Then earlier this year, I took up blogging for real and began posting not just images of finished works but annecdotes and images of my creative process, creative project how-tos, travel images, recipes, and random inspirations.

Here’s a few of the most popular and favorite posts from this year:

Weaving in Huancayo

Peruvian style weaving

The No. 6 and No. 7 posts for the year were about my weaving adventures in Peru. I spent a month in Peru last year learning tapestry and back-strap weaving techniques from local weavers in Huancayo, the third-largest city in Peru, and Patacancha, a tiny village hidden in the Andean Highlands.

I can’t wait to continue sharing my creative adventures here, receiving feedback from readers, and gaining new knowledge and inspiration from fellow bloggers in the New Year!
